Eucalyptus Citriodora essential oil is appreciated in soapmaking for its fresh, lemony fragrance, which retains its intensity well during cold saponification. It provides an invigorating sensation, ideal for soaps with light, invigorating notes.
It blends well with essential oils such as Peppermint and citrus, for a refreshing olfactory synergy.
Incorporation tips :
- Recommended dosage: 3% of the total weight of oils and butters (example: 300 g oils = 9 g essential oil).
- Scent optimization: To prolong the fragrance, add 5% white clay to the total weight of the oils. Mix the clay with the oils before adding the soda solution, to ensure even distribution and optimize the soap's texture.
