Adding Fragrance to Cold Saponification

• Fragrance selection :
  • Our fragrances are specially selected so as not to cause a quick trace in your soap paste.
• Impact on revenues and additions :

• • Depending on the recipe or additives you have chosen, the addition of fragrance can sometimes cause a quick trace.
  • Add between 2% and 5% of your fragrance to the total weight of your oils and butters (PTH).
  • Soap paste can thicken quickly, or even congeal, especially with specific recipes such as 100% coconut.
• Warning: If your recipe contains more than 30% raw shea butter, the fragrance may be slightly altered by the characteristic smell of shea butter.

• Incorporation tips :
  • Add the fragrance very gently to your soap paste after mixing your oils and washing soda.
  • Gradually stir in the fragrance with a spatula.
  • Check constantly that the dough remains homogeneous while adding the fragrance.
• Moulding and curing :
  • Pour the soap mixture into your molds after incorporating the fragrance.
  • Leave the soap to cure for at least 4 weeks before use.
