Lavandin Grosso essential oil is renowned for its soft, fresh, floral fragrance. It is ideal for homemade soaps and hair care products, thanks in particular to its good resistance to cold saponification.

Use in cold saponification

Its aroma remains stable during the manufacturing process, without accelerating trace time. It combines well with other essential oils such as Lavender, Sweet Orange or Rosemary, for a balanced olfactory palette.

Formulation tips :

• Recommended dosage: 3% of the total weight of the oils (e.g. 9 g for 300 g of oils).
• Recommended dosage for Melt and Pour soap bases: 10 drops per 100 gr.
• Scent fixation: Add 5% white clay to prolong fragrance and improve soap texture.

Application in homemade solid shampoos

Lavandin Grosso essential oil is often used in DIY solid shampoos, in particular to create a fresh, pleasant sensory experience.

Typical dosage: 20 drops per 100 g of solid shampoo base or SCI.
