This essential oil, with its typical myrtle scent, is reputed to be a powerful, non-aggressive anti-infective, as well as an effective soother and antifungal (nail fungus and athlete’s foot).

Tea Tree essential oil is a versatile tool to have with you at all times. Its many properties can be used to treat a wide range of ailments.

To make an easy homemade shampoo for your pets, consider combining Tea Tree Essential Oil with Neem oil. This combination is ideal for concocting a natural soap recipe for your dog or cat, offering purifying and soothing properties for their skin and coat.
Tips :
- Incorporation: 3% of the total weight of your oils and butters (example: 300 g oils = 9 g EO).
- Scent prolongation: Add 5% white clay to the total weight of your oils to prolong the scent of your soap. Dilute the clay in the pre-heated oils, blending to ensure even distribution of the clay. Next, add your soda solution. This will prevent lumps in your soap paste and make it easier to manage the trace.
Use in Solid Shampoo :
Tea Tree essential oil is used in hair care, as it is excellent for purifying, cleansing and toning your scalp. It helps combat oily hair, dandruff and itchy scalp.
Add 20 drops for a 100-gram soap (total weight of the SCI Solid Shampoo Kit).
- Oily hair: For oily hair, add 3 drops of Tea Tree essential oil, 3 drops of Geranium Rosat essential oil and 3 drops of Palmarosa essential oil to a bottle of mild shampoo and mix.
- Dandruff: Add 2 drops of Tea Tree essential oil and 2 drops of Geranium to your usual dose of shampoo to combat dandruff.
- Shampoo for Dandruff and Itchy Scalp: Dilute 1 drop of Tea Tree essential oil and 1 drop of Atlas Cedar essential oil in a hazelnut-sized amount of your usual shampoo, 2 or 3 times a week.

Conservation :
Our essential oil is packaged in a dark glass bottle with an airtight cap to preserve all its natural properties and guarantee optimum quality. Store between 5° and 30° away from light and moisture.
Precautions for use :
- Specific contraindications: Do not use this essential oil during pregnancy, while breast-feeding or on children under 3 years of age. Not recommended for people with epilepsy or those at risk of epileptic seizures.
