Use in cold saponification

Ylang-Ylang essential oil is appreciated in soap-making for its exotic, floral fragrance. However, when used alone, it can change over time. This is why it is often combined with other essential oils such as Niaouli, Lavender or Mandarin, for optimum olfactory harmony.

Incorporation tips :

• Recommended dosage: 3% of the total weight of oils and butters (example: 300 g oils = 9 g essential oil).
• Scent optimization: To prolong the fragrance, add 5% white clay to the total weight of the oils. Mix the clay with the oils before adding the soda solution, to ensure even distribution and optimize the soap's texture.
• Technical properties: This essential oil does not accelerate the soap paste.
